2nd annual Boards.ie Photobook Launch Tonight

The 2nd annual Boards.ie Photobook Launch is tonight, all profits go to Santa Strike Force again this year. The book can be purchased from here

Santa Strike Force anonymously buy and distribute cool stuff for kids to hospitals and care-centres because it sucks being there for xmas and despite knowing that there’s no Santa they feel the position has been vacant long enough and there really aught to be one.

The photobook is a collection of 70+ of the best pictures the photographers on the boards.ie photography forum have taken this year. Each photographer (many professionals) have donated their best picture for nothing to this project.

This is the one I submitted.

If you are in town drop into the Dublin Camera Club, 10 Lower Camden Street, Dublin 2 @ 7.30pm tonight. I believe there will be a few copies of the book to purchase tonight as well.

Think of the children :)

Doggy Style

Dogs

Well just when you think things can’t get worse the country has gone to the dogs.

Well the country is paying more administering dog licenses than it takes in from them. Figures released to Fine Gaels Leo Varadkar via a parliamentary questions show that in 2008 dog licensing cost €5.7 million to administer but only took in €2.8 million in fees!!

What else lies hidden in the expenditure of Government in this country of ours.

Original story can be read here

(was going to categorise this as a rant but in reality this is a despair!)

Hindsight is a bitch!

You know hindsight is great. I mean if we only listened to the guy with this placard maybe we could have headed things off at the pass so to speak!

Protester on O'Connell Street Dublin,

I took this shot of a protestor on O’Connell Street back in May 2007. Looks like the freemasons got us after all then !!
